He's headed to regionals for the 3rd consecutive year!
Senior Ty Bardsley came in 2nd🥈 at the District 16-3A cross country meet Thursday at Lear Park in Longview. He ran a 17:58 for the 5K, nearly breaking his personal best.
Bardsley will compete in the UIL Class 3A Region 2 boys meet on Monday Oct. 23 at 11:30am at Lynn Creek Park in Grand Prairie for an opportunity to go to #UILState.
Big ups also to junior Landon Smith who finished 28th with a time of 21:23, and freshman David Montoya who placed 36th at 24:06.
Lady Tigers also competed strong in their 2-mile district race.
Sophomore Presley Johnson ran a PR 16:20 to finish 26th.
Senior Alana Benefield came in 27th at 16:29.
Junior Rebekah Hardy PR'd at 16:32 placing 29th.
Sophomore Lizzie Lee also ran a 16:32 but finished just behind Hardy, officially at 31st. For Lee that was her personal best by over a minute👍.
