SAVE THE DATE: Meet the Teacher Night is Tuesday Aug. 13 at each Arp ISD campus. Elementary: 5:00pm - 6:30pm. Jr. High: 6:00pm - 7:30pm. High School: 7:00pm - 8:00pm. Arp Elementary families can drop off school supplies that night in their classroom. The next morning Wednesday Aug. 14 is the first day of school.

Our 2023-24 Tiger Pride Band continues to shine! 3 of their songs performed at UIL competitions placed in the ATSSB Outstanding Performance Series Region 21 Competition. "Voice of America," 1st place in Region 21 OPS Contest. "Blue Sky Horizon," 2nd place in concert selections. Both entries move on to the ATSSB OPS Area Contest. Results & state qualifiers from the area competition will be announced by June 23. "Moscow 1941," 6th place in Region 21 OPS Contest. "I’m proud of you kiddos, thanks for your hard work," said retiring band director Chris Cook. #TPND

We send our prayers, and sincere condolences to the Ponce family during a very difficult time. Emmanuel Ponce, father of five Arp ISD students, died in a car accident Monday May 27. He was very active in our schools, and community. Ponce successfully coached many of our students in youth baseball for many years.
