Our soon to be sophomore lefty ace⚾️ & multi sport Arp Tiger🐅 standout Zane Bourque earned himself a tryout for the Texas Rangers 2023 Underclass Area Code team. He took part in it Monday at Dallas Baptist University along with top tier talent from around the state and beyond. If he makes the Rangers squad, he'll play in the Area Code Baseball Underclass Games as one of the best 175 players in the country from the class of 2025 & 2026. That tournament is set for Aug. 2-5 in San Diego, CA.

Let's congratulate Arp Tiger baseball standout Colton Cross who's been named a Class 3A 2nd team All-State second baseman by the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association for the 2023 season. A 4-year varsity starter, Cross capped off his final Tiger campaign finishing 2nd in District 16-3A in hitting at .435, and 4th in the league in ERA at 1.84.

Incoming 7th-9th grade Arp Tiger🐅 Hoops🏀 boys basketball camp starts next Tuesday June 20, runs through Thursday June 22 at Arp J.H. School.
It lasts from 10:30am to 12:30pm all 3 days. Hope to see many young Tigers there.

STAAR End of Course assessment retake reminder: For those students that need to retake an EOC, the tutorials for those will be held next week June 12-15 from 9:00am to noon at Arp High School.
The EOC retests are June 20 & 21 (make up day) at 8:30am at the H.S.
If you did not receive a prior message from Arp High School, then your student passed their EOC.
This is only for students who did not pass their Spring 2023 EOC tests.
If you haven't ordered your yearbook, here's one last chance.
Late orders will be accepted June 1 - July 30. The cost does go up $5. New cost is Elementary for $35 and JH/HS for $55. You can order online at https://www.jostens.com/yearbooks or come by your school campus office to pay cash or check.
Transcripts/diplomas can be picked up after 1:30pm (TODAY) Wednesday May 31 at the Arp High School front office. It is open Monday-Thursday 8:00am-3:30pm during the summer except on holidays.
The Arp Athletic Booster Club will have its 1st meeting of the 2023-24 school year Tuesday, July 25 at 6:00pm at the Arp H.S. Commons.
Officers for the new school year will be elected at that meeting.
If you would like to be put on the ballot for any of the following positions, president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, concession manager, social media rep, or fund raiser rep, please email wess@arpisd.org with your name, email, and phone# ASAP.
If you signed up to run for one of these positions at the athletic banquet, then your name is already on there.
As we prepare to renovate our Guy V. Lewis Gymnasium, we're presently seeking a construction manager at risk for the project.
