How about our 🐅 accountants folks!
They are heading state after winning the #UIL regional competition Saturday Apr. 28 at Tyler Junior College.
Third trip to state for our accounting team in the last four years.
Senior Sarah Mauldin placed third individually.
Sophomore Case Arrington, senior Fisher Arrington, and sophomore Jaycee McCollum make up the rest of the squad.
Competition at UT Austin is Tuesday May 14.

We're proud to announce that Arp Elementary has been named a National Showcase School for Capturing Kids Hearts. Principal Beth Hines states that she's, "Over the moon proud of how hard (her staff) has worked at implementing CKH the past few years."


Thursday's Elementary Community Cookout CANCELED: Due to the high probability of severe storms⛈️ and continuous rain Thursday, while prioritizing the safety of our student families, & staff, we have decided to cancel the Arp Elementary Community Cookout scheduled for Thursday evening.


Nominations have opened for 2024-25 Arp Elementary PTO offices of president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer.
To be nominated, individuals must be a parent or guardian of a current Arp Elementary student & have attended a minimum of 3 PTO meetings during the 2023-24 school year.
Please submit your nominations to ptoarpelementary@gmail.com with the nominee's name & desired position.
Nominations are due by noon Tuesday May 7.
Voting will take place in person at the May 7 PTO meeting at 6:15pm.


Let's congratulate Coach Sydney Jones who has been promoted to head volleyball coach of the Arp High School Lady Tigers.
Coach Jones is a Carlisle H.S. & UT Tyler grad who has been part of our H.S. athletic department the last two years as an assistant volleyball, basketball, & track coach. She's also served as Arp H.S.'s biology teacher during that time.
Let's wish her the best of luck as she takes over a program that returns all but two players from a varsity squad that reached the playoffs last season for the first time since 2016.

The banquet is Monday May 6 with dinner at 6:00pm in Arp H.S. commons & awards ceremony at 7:30pm at H.S. auditorium.
The awards portion is free for anyone that wishes to attend.

STATE BOUND: Two of our Arp H.S. 🐅🎣 boats qualified to the State Fishing Tournament Saturday.
Sophomore Will Sanford & Junior Bryce Everett caught three fish weighing in at 5.56 lbs. to place 51st out of 201 boats.
And Sophomore David Domm & Junior Madelyne Eaton caught two fish weighing in at 4.8 lbs. to finish 61st at the THSBA NE/E/Central Regional tournament at Lake Tawakoni.
Those four Tiger anglers will compete at the THSBA State Championship tournament on May 18-19 at Lake Palestine.
We're very proud of all ten Arp High School Bass Club boats that qualified for regionals & did an outstanding job representing Arp, America.

Our senior has earned herself the East Texas Professional Credit Union $3,000 McLauchlin Scholarship. It's an award for those wishing to pursue an education degree.
She's second from the left on the back row at the awards ceremony Wednesday. Karli will be attending UT Tyler in the fall. She also recognized our math teacher Mrs. Jennifer Arrington as her most influential teacher.
