Our 2023-24 Tiger Pride Band continues to shine!
3 of their songs performed at UIL competitions placed in the ATSSB Outstanding Performance Series Region 21 Competition.
"Voice of America," 1st place in Region 21 OPS Contest.
"Blue Sky Horizon," 2nd place in concert selections. Both entries move on to the ATSSB OPS Area Contest. Results & state qualifiers from the area competition will be announced by June 23.
"Moscow 1941," 6th place in Region 21 OPS Contest.
"I’m proud of you kiddos, thanks for your hard work," said retiring band director Chris Cook.

We send our prayers, and sincere condolences to the Ponce family during a very difficult time. Emmanuel Ponce, father of five Arp ISD students, died in a car accident Monday May 27. He was very active in our schools, and community. Ponce successfully coached many of our students in youth baseball for many years.

They are heading state after winning the #UIL regional competition Saturday Apr. 28 at Tyler Junior College.

Senior Sarah Mauldin placed third individually.
Sophomore Case Arrington, senior Fisher Arrington, and sophomore Jaycee McCollum make up the rest of the squad.

We're proud to announce that Arp Elementary has been named a National Showcase School for Capturing Kids Hearts. Principal Beth Hines states that she's, "Over the moon proud of how hard (her staff) has worked at implementing CKH the past few years."
Thursday's Elementary Community Cookout CANCELED: Due to the high probability of severe storms⛈️ and continuous rain Thursday, while prioritizing the safety of our student families, & staff, we have decided to cancel the Arp Elementary Community Cookout scheduled for Thursday evening.
Nominations have opened for 2024-25 Arp Elementary PTO offices of president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer.
To be nominated, individuals must be a parent or guardian of a current Arp Elementary student & have attended a minimum of 3 PTO meetings during the 2023-24 school year.
Please submit your nominations to ptoarpelementary@gmail.com with the nominee's name & desired position.
Nominations are due by noon Tuesday May 7.
Voting will take place in person at the May 7 PTO meeting at 6:15pm.
Let's congratulate Coach Sydney Jones who has been promoted to head volleyball coach of the Arp High School Lady Tigers.
Coach Jones is a Carlisle H.S. & UT Tyler grad who has been part of our H.S. athletic department the last two years as an assistant volleyball, basketball, & track coach. She's also served as Arp H.S.'s biology teacher during that time.
Let's wish her the best of luck as she takes over a program that returns all but two players from a varsity squad that reached the playoffs last season for the first time since 2016.
