š TEAMS: Congrats to our 7th grade A team ladies who won the 7th grade consolation bracket Saturday at the West Rusk Invitational Tournament. Also great job to our 8th grade A team, which finished fourth in the 8th grade consolation bracket at West Rusk's tourney.
After falling to Grace 2-0 in their opener, our 7A ladies defeated Big Sandy 2-0, and Carlisle 2-0 to claim the consolation title.
Our 8A Lady Tigers fell to Grace 2-0, then beat Big Sandy 2-1, and fell to West Rusk 2-0.
Both teams along with our 7th grade B-1 team are in action again Monday afternoon as they host West Rusk in the Arp Jr. High gym.
So come on out to support our hard working young ladies please.

Arp Junior High School will hold a public meeting regarding the campusā 2026ā2027 Targeted Improvement Plan (TIP) on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. ā 5:30 p.m. in the Arp Junior High Library.
During the meeting, campus performance and the 2026ā2027 Targeted Improvement Plan will be reviewed, and parents, families, and community members will have an opportunity to provide input regarding the plan.
The TIP meeting will be held in conjunction with Arp Junior Highās Title I Family Night. Open House will immediately follow from 5:30 p.m. ā 6:30 p.m.
Parents, families, and community members are encouraged to attend.

The secure alert status has been lifted from all campuses at Arp ISD. We will operate on a normal schedule Thursday, with all buses running their regular routes as scheduled. As always the safety and security of all our students, staff, and visitors to our school district is our utmost priority. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation Wednesday.
After school dismissal will operate as normal at all Arp ISD campuses & all school bus routes will run as normal. Our staff will take some extra precautions to ensure the safety of everyone including (at Elementary) keeping students indoors until their parent pulls up in the car rider line to pick them up.
Thank you for your patience as we work to keep everyone safe.
All Arp ISD school campuses have gone into a SECURE ALERT setting out of an abundance of caution due to police activity near our school district. All staff & students are to remain inside the buildings, but classes will continue as normal. All students & staff are safe at this time, and that is our number one priority.
Please refrain from calling our school campus offices or coming to our campuses until after the secure alert setting is lifted. We will update you when that takes place.
