Arp, America is thrilled to have one of its outstanding young men complete his childhood dream Wednesday as he signed to play baseball at the college level.

Tigers senior right-handed pitcher Colton Cross signed a national letter of intent to play baseball at Texas Tech University while also accepting an athletic scholarship from the institution.

Some of his honors include:

4-year varsity starter at Arp H.S.

2-time All-District 16-3A Pitcher.

Perfect Game Pre-Season All-Texas team.

Represented Texas in the Prep Baseball Report future games.

Pertinent Stats during Arp H.S. Career:

2022 (Junior) 56 K's in 31 IP (1.8 K's per inning).

2021 (Sophomore) 82 K's in 40.2 IP (2 K's per inning).

Outside of Arp ISD, Cross plays travel baseball for Five Star Performance.
