One of our Tiger Art students will have her award winning work displayed until May 7 at the Longview Museum of Fine Arts.
Junior Ashley Howard received honorable mention at the museum's 62nd annual student invitational competition.
Her piece is titled Unconcealed Spectrum, which is a portrayal of herself.
The exhibit displays student work from 18 different high schools in numerous categories. Some of those include computer graphics, photography, mixed media, painting, drawing, block printing, sculpture and ceramics.
Howard received her ribbon at a reception March 24 in Longview.
The Longview Museum of Fine Arts is located at 215 E. Tyler Street, Longview, TX 75601.
It is open Tuesday-Friday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Saturdays 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
