The Arp Lady Tiger Volleyball team opens its 2021 regular season Tuesday afternoon at home. The Lady Tigers welcome Highway 64 neighbor Chapel Hill to John Mills Parker Gymnasium.
The Freshmen get going at 4:30 p.m., with Junior Varsity following at approximately 5:30 p.m.
The Varsity squads will then square off at 6:30 p.m.
Arp Volleyball is now led by head coach Billy Holcomb, who doubles up as the Lady Tigers head softball coach as well. He has been in the coaching profession for 22 years.
Holcomb is assisted by Angelia Neal, and Barry Woodruff.
Woodruff who has had a decorated 32-year career as a volleyball, basketball, and track coach in East Texas is coming out of retirement to return to Arp High School where he spent five successful years at the turn of the millennium.
