Help For Easy Spelling Word/Site Word Mastery:

1.   Say each spelling/site word.  Have your child repeat the word and spell ot aloudas they write it in the air.  If the word is misspelled,  point out the error immediately.  Later review all misspelled words.

2.    Spell aloud each spelling/site word.   Invite your child to write the word on a piece of paper and then tell you what word it is.  Help your child cut pictures from magazines.  Use spelling/site words to write titles for the pictures.

Home Activities:

1.    Work with your child to create sentences or a short story,  using some if the spelling/site words.  Print what your child dictates on a sheet  of paper,  and help your child read the back.  Display the work.

2.   Make a spelling/site wordscrapbook.   Help your child cut pictures from magazines.  Use spelling/site words to write titles for the pictures.
