CAUTION: this software will prompt you on about the 4 screen to load the ASK.COM search engine. You want to UNCHECK this option. You do not want to load this on your Tool Bar!

| Step 1: copy software file
from (rt mouse, copy) \\maroon\teachers\software\FREE_STUDIO and paste on your desktop (rt mouse, paste) |

| Step 2: Double Click on the Free Studio Icon |  |

| Step 3: Click on Run |  |
||
| Step 4: Click OK |  |

| Step 5: Click NEXT on Wizard |

| Step 6: Click on Accept and then NEXT |

| Step 7: Click Next for Location |
 |

| Step 8: When Prompted to Install ASK Tool Bar, uncheck those boxes. | |||
| Step 9: Click on Install |

| Step 10: Uncheck the eBAY Icons |

| Step 11: Delete the Program File from your Desktop. (Rt Mouse, Delete) | |

| RUNNING THE PROGRAM | |||
| Step 1: DoubleClick on the FreeStudio Icon on your Desktop |  |

| Step 2: Click on the Video to iPod Converter |  |
||
| Step 3: Click Browse and find the AVI file you want to convert |  |
||
| Step 4: Make sure you decide
WHERE you want the new converted file to be saved. Click on the second BROWSE and find your Podcast folder. Make sure you select Apple iPod as the device |

| STEP 5: You can choose the
size of your final video- either 640X480 OR 480X320
The smaller the video the faster it will download....however, it may not show your lesson with enough detail. You can play with this feature. When you have selected the size. Click CONVERT. Your video will convert and be placed in your Podcast folder. This is the file you will upload to your Blog using the the Music Notes. |
