Sixth Six Weeks Syllabus

Objective Artifact
The student will research the topic of Digital Video and WWW video implementation -- criteria:
Use current media magazines from the Technology Studio Library and Internet
Include 3 source -- two magazines and one Intranet
Use MLA or APA style
3 pages doubles spaced and typed
Use copyright considerations -- note cards and outline due 4 days before first draft
Final draft email to instructor

The student will create a FLASH / ShockWave OR a 3-D Animation project for their personal portfolio with the following criteria:

to learn about each of these features

Student will study the unit on the Six Pillars of Character and Five Levels of Mastery.
Student will create a storyboard for their video project -- complete with interview questions, scene layouts, background, and music ideas
The animation will demonstrate one of the Six Pillars of Good Character
jpg background -- Use any graphic generator to create an original work
sound -- Use Midi generator for original work

Size -- Stay within 50 Kbytes
Student's work will be used as a demonstration video on the CC! Web site.

OR

Projects
The student will create a digital streaming video for the WWW using the following criteria:
Student will study the unit on the Six Pillars of Character and Five Levels of Mastery.
Student will create a storyboard for their video project -- complete with interview questions, scene layouts, background, camera angles, & slides
The video will demonstrate one of the Six Pillars of Good Character
Student may use dramatization, interview, slides animation, or a combination
Student must utilize Real Audio / Video Producer Pro to create a streaming produce of less than 50 Kbytes
Use Midi generator for original composition for sound
Student's video will be used as a demonstration video on the CC! Web site.
