Knowledge & Skills
- Demonstration of appropriate use of hardware components,
software, connections, cables, digital & analog video systems,
input, processing, output, and storage devices, compatibility issues,
vocabulary
- Demonstration of appropriate data input skills, use of a variety of
input devices (keyboard, mouse, disk, modem, scanner, voice/sound
recorders, digital video) incorporating such components into the
video-related product
- Student complies with copyright laws, models proper etiquette and
ethical acquisition by citing sources using established methods
- Analyzes the impact of video technology on society

Projects
The student will create a slide
presentation using either PowerPoint, Freelance, Astound, or Compel software packages.
The purpose of the presentation is to create a multimedia resume to present to a
potential employer.
CRITERIA
 | At least 5 slides representing areas of Interest,
Hobbies, Educational Highlights, Work Experience, Personal Information |
 | Must include a scanned or digital picture of self |
 | Must follow good design features |
 | Must Include a variety of slide formats (Bullets,
Titles, Text, etc.) |
 | Must include appropriate transitions, theme, and use 1/3
rule |
 | Must include all resume data |
