Setting up OPERA on your computer

Step 1: Inside this folder \\maroon\staff\SOFTWARE\OPERA

Click on this Icon

Step 2: Click on Run, Accept, Next, Install, Finish

Step 3: When you open the Browser it will want you to authenticate the Proxy with your Username and Password—just CANCEL this request

Step 4: Setting up OPERA

Go to Tools, Preferences

At the General Tab put in the Home Page as seen below

NOTICE this is also where you control POP-UPS

Step 5: Now Fix the Proxy by Clicking on Advanced Tab, Network

Step 6: Click on Proxy Servers … the following items should be filled out

If the bottom box is not filled in…make sure you check the “Do not use proxy on the addresses below” and copy and paste all the following items into that box:

Step 7: Then Click OK, OK

You should be ready to browse!
