Recording with your Document Camera
Things you need:
(1)
Document Camera connected to PC with USB cable
(2)
AverMedia Software Loaded on PC
(3)
A visual lesson planned step by step
For AverMedia 300 or better PC
Microphone connected to PC with Mic enabled
a.
Double Click
on Sound Icon (lower right hand corner of task bar) ![]()
b.
Click on
Options, Properties 
c.
Make sure
MIC Volume is checked, then click OK
d.
Check the
Mic Volume to make sure it is up
BEGIN
(1)
Turn on Document camera
(2)
Click on desktop icon 
(3)
Position your visual aid correctly, then click on
Video Button
(4) When you are ready to proceed, click on Video
Record
(5)
Select your Desktop as the place to record your video
(NOTE: you will drag your video to a network folder when you are finished!!!!
Always record to the desktop AND always play from the desktop AND
always store in a network folder!)

Name your video
(6)
As soon as you click the save button, your recording
begins.

Stop Video when finished 
(8)
You can go directly to your desktop and double click
on your video. It should play automatically in Windows Media Player.
(9)
Don’t forget to move your video to a network folder!
(10)
Erase the
video from your desktop & recycle bin so you don’t bog down your computer.
