Format: Tech tools usually capture video in AVI format. This is a clean clear video that is usually LARGE in size. We call this the MASTER video as it is used for editing and refining the final product before it is compressed to streaming video-- (wmv) or podcasts (mp4) Example: Calculator.avi VIDEO FILES: AVI - Good for Master Footage, however, this format needs to be translated into Web friendly formats (mov, mp4, m4v, or wmv) Examples using the Encoder in Windows Movie Maker (AVI to WMV): HTMLO1.WMV OR HTML2.WMV MAC users: iMovie will stream video for Podcasting.
