No skill should be learned in ISOLATION ---> All skills should be utilized by the learner in a meaningful relevant way through personal interaction ( Engaged Learner Model).
Technology allows for diversity -- word processing, video collage, 3-D animation, presentations, graphics, simulation, desktop publishing, poetry, song writing, Web page publishing, HyperStudio stack, can be utilized to motivate the learner. Technology allows for productivity in both: Purposeful -- TAAS writing (persuasive, informative) and Reflective -- journaling, qualitative narrative Instruction
