Planning Guide
Global
Interactive Projects
A global interactive project is defined as a
Web-based project that involves learners from around the globe. The
project's goal is to allow all types of learners to interactively participate
while increasing the value, database, knowledge-base, understanding for the
benefit of all learners.
A global project grows exponentially as each
participant contributes to the project. Students are able to learn more
because of the information is not limited to their community or their classroom
expertise.
A global interactive project must be designed
to support input from around the globe over a period of time. Design an
invitation page to explain your project and to notify digital travelers how they
can participate in your project (Example).
Your planning process should recognize that resources,
staff, time, and commitment to the project are necessary to make it a useful
learning experience.
