data. Data stored on our 18 servers is
backed up nightly.
Backup servers are
located at multiple sites --
The Arp District NOC (Network Operations Center), an alternate IDF, at
the NOC for NETNet at UTHC, and on the iVault servers in New
Jersey.
Backup Details:

Full nightly
backups of all user and district data with
Terabyte (NAS) servers on an A/B
day rotation schedule.

Daily backups
are performed and maintained for 30 days.

Daily backup of
critical data is sent encrypted through iVault services to New
Jersey (2 sites simultaneously)

The Terabyte
severs (A & B) are in different physical locations
-
Weekly backup (C)
is sent to University of Tyler Health Center Network Operations
Control Center (30 miles away from Arp Schools).
Rotational and Redundant backup details:

Nightly,
incremental backup of user and district data.

Monday,
Wednesday, Friday, full user data backup on
Barracuda Server on-site.

Tuesday,
Thursday, full departmental data backup on
Alternate Barracuda Server on-site (different location).

Daily backup of
critical PEIMS data through iVault to New Jersey (2 different sites)

Weekly, full
backup of application servers. These include
domain controller, Exchange Server, RAS
Server, Library Server, Web Server, Productivity Servers, File
Servers, ClassServer, Application Servers, Remote Control Server
and Firewalls to a Barracuda Server at UTHC,
North Tyler.

Daily backups are
done every evening of school business
days. Daily backup are on a 30-day rotation schedule. No
backups are performed on weekends or holidays.

Weekly backup
performed every Friday Evening are sent 30 miles
away to UTHC.

Monthly backups
are performed on the first business day after the targeted month.
