How To Create A New Class In Study Island:

Log into Study Island with your username and password

Click on Class Manager

If creating a new class, type in the title for your new class Click NEXT

You can change your title here if you think you made a mistake:

To Change Preferences for this class: use the school preference that the admin has assigned or you can Override School Preference: Admin must allow teacher to override preferences

If you decide to Override School Preferences: Click on the Preferences, Click on Override School Preferences.

You will have the options to turn games on or off. You can also set the game to play if they score a certain percentage.

Remedial Topics: If turned on, it will allow a student to move down a grade level if the student is struggling. Turn off if you want that student to stay on the grade level.

Timer Visible: You have the option to hide the timer. The timer is at the top right hand corner of every test. It is counting up the time to determine how long it takes for the student to take the test.

After setting your Preferences, now click on the grade level

Click on Check All or Check the box of the students you want to add

After adding your student click on the Save & Exit

Your class is then added in My Existing Classes

Click on Class Manager, Click on your class, Click on the Pencil

This will allow you to delete a student or add a student.

Click on the Paper to see Class Properties:

This will give you the Class Assignments:

Click on the Paper

This will give you the Objectives:

Click on the Graph:

Click on the Item

This will give you the student test results

Click on View Missed This will give you the questions the student missed
