READ-A-LONG TEXT VERSION of AUDIO FILE: Most of the questions will be about your personal use and knowledge of Technology Integration Techniques. You can answer the questions any way you feel comfortable. For each question you can click on “more…” to see how to respond if you are unsure. While you are answering the questions, you need to take note of areas where you personally fall below the “Target”. These are areas that you should become proactive in participating in professional development.

The Tech Department wants to provide you with the professional development you need, yet realizes the time constraints for staff development days. That is why we are placing small professional development units on TigerTube (online learning, professional development, & podcasts)- available to you 24-7 for your convenience. Please send any requests that you may have for your personal needs to me and I will try and develop a short lesson for you to become better acquainted in that area.  

The following are some of the questions you may not be sure how to answer…and I am giving you that information below.

• All campuses use a variety of discretionary funds and other resources to tech tools (TARGET)
• All Classrooms have DIRECT connectivity to Internet available with adequate bandwidth (TARGET)
• All Classrooms have DEDICATED computers per educator with technology tools (cameras, projectors, graphing calculators) available to all teachers (ADVANCED)
• Number of Computers per student – All campuses have 2 students to 1 computer ratios (ADVANCED)
• We have 1 dedicated technical staff to 351-500 computers (ADVANCED)
• LAN/WAN connectivity – all classrooms have broadband access (TARGET)
• The district has simultaneous access to online learning –streaming video, podcasts, sufficient bandwidth and storage (file folders) – (TARGET)

STAR Chart Username is usually  FIRST.LAST  (FIRSTNAMEdotLAST --ALL CAPS Example:   JULIA.ROUSSEAU)  The password for all new teachers to the district is:  password

If you do not know your password - give your USERNAME in the appropriate blank on the STAR Chart opening page and your password will be sent to you. If you do not know your Username...email me. I do not have access to your password. It MUST be emailed to you.
