Video Cameras

The Cannon ZR10 is good for closeup work with an excellent built-in microphone for activities like pep rallies, gymnasium events, and classroom events.

 

 Digital Video Cameras are used in the Video Tech classes.  Each camera has its own particular advantage and use.

The SonyDigital Handycam with 3CCD is professional-level camera which uses DV tapes also.

Sony Handycam Ditial 8 camera uses High 8 tapes but records digital signals on the tape.  Beware!  Do not place a recorded digital tape into a High 8 camera or vise versa!

Micro Digital Video Cameras use very small (compare to mouse) tapes to record 1 hour of video.  Quality is excellent.

Micro DV Tape
Digital Cameras made for interactive video can be used to capture video directly to the computer or broadcast video to all users of a network.  See Media Encoder
