October Sky Reflection - Day 1

Day 4 Reflection: Today's goal is to become familiar with the term "conflict resolution", what it is, and how it can help EVERYONE accomplish their goals in life.

Section 1: What conflicts did Homer face? How did he resolve them? What principals did Homer exhibit?

Section 2: What excuses might Homer have made to quit before accomplishing his dream? List as many as you can. What excuses do you have in not accomplishing your goals?

Section 3: What obstacles (barriers) did Homer Hickam, Jr experience in his life? When listing specific obstacles, give the precise event, the person, and the situation. Discuss how these things were barriers to Homer's life goal.
