Technology Applications Assistance

Dear District Technology User:

If you have problem with a computer that has not been serviced within a 2 or 3 day period….then we are NOT aware of it.  The Technology Department works on about a 3 day cycle.  If you have some issue that has not been resolved in 3 days…then you will need to make sure that the problem is ACTUALLY in the Tech Department’s database.  To correctly identify a problem to the Tech Department, you will need to email a Maintenance request with VERY SPECIFIC information (Click on Select Form, Click on Maintenance Request Form). 

Remember: “DOES NOT WORK” is not specific. Instead if you could be more specific, like “does not turn on”, “blue screens”, “does not connect to the network”, best of all if you would give us the exact error message,  we would VERY MUCH APPRECIATE it and you would receive better service.  Thanks, Joy

Keep Your Computer and Computer Area Clean

District Policy disallows the maintenance folks from cleaning computers...that is the responsibility of the faculty member given the computers.  Please spend a few minutes a week, dusting the areas around your computers.
