Subject: Arp ISD Calculator Contract

 

Dear Parents of Arp High School,

 

In order to better serve the needs of all Arp students; we now have Texas Instrument calculators that you may check out through the school.  This will allow students that do not have their own school approved calculator to have access to this important tool.  The school- recommended calculator is the Texas Instrument TI-83+.  Other calculators may be accepted upon approval by your child’s Math and/or Science teachers. These calculators can be purchased at most office supply stores and some Wal-Marts. (Ex: Office Depot, Office Max, Best Buy, Circuit City)  At this time, these calculators can be purchased for approximately $80.00.  There will no longer be calculators available in the classrooms, so your child will need this equipment as soon as possible.  The following contract must be signed by you and properly notarized (Superintendent’s Secretary or  Dr. Zachary’s Receptionist will notarize at no charge.)  Required signatures include a current licensed notary public, the responsible guardian, and the student, in order to receive a school-supplied calculator.
